Our Engineering design and drafting team, consists of experienced structural steel detailers, design engineers, draftsmen and professional engineers. Our engineers utilise software systems such as Tekla Structure, Autocad, Autodesk Revit and Staad Pro in our design and drafting drawing. AMET has one of the most comprehensive engineering facilities in Singapore.
Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD and Tekla Structure system are used to create 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
Tekla is a building information modeling (BIM) 3-D modeling software that our design team use to visualise the project as well as to export drawings out for fabrication.
Steel Project PLM is a production software that transfer fabrication drawing data from Tekla model to control panel of the CNC machine for cutting and drilling of steel members, pipe and plate.
Staad Pro is a structural analysis and design software.
We have 48,000 sqft of fabrication space in our Tuas South Link 3 factory. The factory is designed specially to maximise our machinery and workflow. We have three 10-ton overhead cranes with large machines such as an automated CNC drilling and cutting, plate and pipe plasma profile cutting. This helps to boost our productivity, cutting down the time needed for fabrication.
